EXHIBITION DESIGN | APERTURE FOUNDATION

To celebrate and feature the works seen in the Aperture published book, The New Black Vanguard, a three month photography exhibition was held at Aperture’s gallery space in Chelsea, Manhattan. For my first venture into exhibition design, I was in charge of the typography including the wall texts and photo captions. The visual language was derived from the book’s already established style, but adjusted to work for various platforms throughout the exhibition. Photographs courtesy of Aperture Foundation.
