Map of the Idol

A staple within the K-Pop world is an artist’s album complete with not just their newest CD, but also photo cards, posters, and a photobook with a lyrics section at the end. I wanted to subvert the visual language of a K-Pop lyric book, but give the lyrics and their meaning more importance by also relating it to real time media and explanations. This lyric book is for the K-Pop boy group BTS and is a compilation of their most socially aware and thought provoking songs. Like a map, the digital annotations are there to further explain the lyrics and ideas mentioned.
